Will we be reminded that the US justice department might well keep back some of the Epstein stuff because they claim to be investigating particular cases?

Welp, did something useful today and repaired one of my laundry bags whose carrying strap was hanging on by a thread and had some busted seams. Grandma's spool of upholstery thread still reigning champion for heavy use item repairs.

With the help of global warming they end up in France and the Netherlands?
13 East Anglian neighbourhoods are among England’s most deprived 1%. Every one lies on the coast. The poorest voted Reform. A warning about what happens when seaside towns are left behind.
East Anglia: home to the richest and poorest
The Office for National Statistics has just published a report on deprivation in communities across England. What does it tell us about our deeply divided region?

We stopped at the historical marker for Harriet Tubman's birthplace and found someone had left three apples and a whisk broom in the grass. They form an arrow pointing north.

Labour doesn’t blow it’s achievement trumpet :
Conservatives blew theirs based on their stated intentions yet never even initiated never mind implemented any.
Since Labour came to power, there's been an orchestrated right-wing campaign to undermine the great work they are doing.

It falls to us to tell the story

Nothing like a good near-drowning to convince people that global warming is real
Climate change in the Midlands is a serious local concern

Climate change is a global emergency, but its impacts and solutions must also be a local priority for the Midlands.

Given the party's refusal to act on Pochin's brazen racism, it should be as socially unacceptable to vote for Reform as it was in the early 2000s to vote for the BNP.

And we should be prepared to say this to people's faces.

What a brilliant thread.
I’m just going to say as someone who lived in London for eleven years and is currently seriously considering going back precisely because of the far right theocratic fascism of Trump, that he’s talking out of his fucking asshole.
Trump to the UN: "I have to say, I look at London where you have a terrible mayor -- terrible terrible mayor -- and it's been so changed, so changed. Now they want to go to Sharia Law ... both their immigration and their suicidal energy ideas will be the death of Western Europe."

The public is being misled.
Not just by Reform & the Tories, but by our government too.
Small boat arrivals make up 5% of immigrants arriving but take up 100% of the debate.
Thanks, Zack, for speaking the truth. It's something sorely lacking in any discussions about migration.
No other party says the basic truth: migration is good for Britain.

The real problem? Inequality, soaring bills, underfunded public services.

That’s driven by the greed of the super rich and the Labour government who serve them - not by migrants.

USA problem is actually quite simple:
It's the extreme societal imbalance in many aspects (wealth, education, power, beliefs) & their 3rd world geographic areas:
Many don't know there is a world outside: Many don't even know USA.
But they'll never understand until imposed by an external influence.
