Schumer needs to be gone. There is no world in which this vote makes sense. Either you should never have shut the government down, or you stick to your guns until getting something. Democrats just swept the off-year elections -- and not just in blue states -- a resounding rejection of Republicans' authoritarian bullshit. It is an insult to Democratic voters, marketplace enrollees, and everyone who turned out on Tuesday for Schumer and Jeffries to cave.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

it's frustrating to see small creators who try this AI stuff to (unsuccessfully) compete at a higher tier
but it's infuriating when companies with essentially unlimited revenue to afford paying real professionals like Activision, EA, Coca-Cola or Disney Marvel use it ("bro it's so alien! get it?")

I feel like Mamdani has the chance to do what Obama ultimately dropped the ball on by using the groundswell of support to help enact his policy goals. I see opinions like “he can’t unilaterally make his promises happen” but if he has a base of motivated organization he may have some luck.

Fun fact, the Governor of VA impacts the makeup of the county board of elections. It’s not an immediate thing, but you county board make up is driven by the party of the Governor. Republicans will get replaced as their terms come up so that county election boards are majority Dem. 🌈⭐️

There is nothing “radical” about wanting a more equitable city. About wanting to be able to afford rent. About seeing the gap between the rich and the poor growing beyond comprehension. Any mainstream media organization portraying these promises as such is doing a disservice to the industry.
