Embroidery is like watercolor and (to some extent) calligraphy: I'm always tempted to add a few more stitches to "fix" things, but most of the time, if you don't get that first layer/stroke/stitch right, adding more will just make it look stiff and overwrought.

Karen Cahall has been a teacher in the New Richmond School District in Ohio for 34 years.
Cahall, who teaches 3rd grade, was recently suspended for 3 days without pay and threatened with termination. She was punished for offering 4 books in her classroom library that contained LGBTQ characters.

Anyone else newish to life with housebound M.E. feel they’re dissociating their way through it all? I’ve been housebound for 5 months, mainly bedbound, apart from a couple of health appts. But somehow I still feel like it all isn’t happening. Is this some kind of grief mechanism? (1/2)
