Being painfully transparent, I’ve gotten right at 100 rejections this year, academic and alt-ac alike. I promise to never be this delusional about them though.

I said it on here, I think, but the fact that there can even be a separate unemployment rate for Black people and that that isn't looked to for indications of...anything other than Black people's collective FAILURE is exactly why Black women can lose more than a quarter of a million jobs quietly. 💀
