That college essay making the rounds is bad, but in terms of writing skill, it's pretty par for the course.
The sad truth is that there are a few million upper middle class white parents in this country who genuinely fail to grasp that their kids don't know how to write.

Saw a Reddit post where a kid had requested from AI a high school paper on homelessness, but accidentally spelled it “homeliness.” The results were a spectacularly funny failure. Sad only because the kid actually turned it in!!! 🤦♀️

Despite being a pretty decent cook and baker, I cannot meal plan at all.
I hate every bit of it.
I don’t want to be locked into making things on specific days. I’m lucky if I have a vague idea of what I’m cooking each week.

The open secret that Thomas King is not Indigenous at all is finally verified, and honestly it's a relief. Having him just confess this instead of going out kicking and screaming like so many before him causes a LOT less harm to Indigenous communities.
