You are intentionally choosing not to understand the issue. Nothing about King's life experience was Indigenous. He was playing people with stories they wanted to hear, further obscuring the real stories of actual Indigenous peoples. Cherokee know who belongs to them.

I’ve done extensive genealogy research. Paper records are important to proving connections, but legit proof is in DNA. Many early gov records could be faked, lost, or disappeared.
In 2013, there certainly wasn’t enough indigenous blood in the DNA banks to be definitive. Still isn’t.
