November, even in her drabness, reminds us that beauty is all around us if we take the time to look for it. Good morning all.

When they said “Take the dog to the groomer” this isn’t what they meant.
Maxwell is NOT supposed to have access to the dogs in training in prison because sexual abusers are not considered safe even for the dogs. So it’s a slap in the face that she’s got access to those animals.

I.C.E. raided my clients’ welcome-home fiesta last night.

Family had just been reunited since being kidnapped.

This is terrorism. Plain and simple.

“The dog that didn’t bark” + “Beating a dead horse” =

Barking up a dead horse
"The dog that didn't bark" is a phrase from a Sherlock Holmes story that means the absence of evidence can be a clue to solving a mystery. The dog's silence indicated that the thief was someone the dog knew, not a stranger. Meaning: what is not said, seen, or done, can be as revealing as what is.

Keep posting sky pictures, I like being reminded that we're all piles of carbon screaming through space on a rock and we're all just hanging on and hoping for the best.

Casually seeing that my electric cost per KWH is only up .. JUST SHY OF 27% YEAR OVER YEAR.

My Social Security cost-of-living increase - 2.5%.

No inflation? Fuck all the way off. Years ago, we added roof solar in the #PNW so summer is cheap/free - I still can’t keep up with this bullshit.

My wife and I pay for life insurance even though we have never died. I pay for fire insurance even though my house has never burned down. That's not because we want to throw money at insurance companies. It's because THAT'S HOW INSURANCE WORKS.
