Now imagine that every day. That’s how Logan Paul/Mr Beast/etc feel
who the fuck WANTS their posts to go viral, have you ever had that actually happen? it's like getting a winning pull on a slot machine if wasps started pouring out the bottom instead of quarters

I would have to imagine people know that teams have ways of evaluating players at positions they haven’t played yet, should I not imagine that or
Mets GM David Stearns: We need to drastically improve our team defense.

Also Mets GM David Stearns: Jorge Polanco to first base! Bo Bichette to third base! Brett Baty to left field! Mrs. Met to starting pitcher!

(Still stoked about Bichette's bat, though.)

I haven’t had a single original experience in my life
rather than talk about Scott Adams I want to talk about something weirder (me). Who else was really into Dilbert when you were 12. Who else was like, boy, I can't wait to work a cubicle job

Currently in the interview process for jobs with: NBC
The Washington Nationals
Pyrocinical

Is it more likely I get none of these jobs than any of them? Yeah probably. Is it a totally unique experience also? Also likely lol

So much of American history is just impulsive and extremely stupid elites, who don't believe in consequences because they have never personally experienced them, doing highly consequential stuff because they're bored or believe it might make them richer. I guess a lot of our culture, too.

Games 25 for 25 inspired by bill Simmons and @seanfennessey.bsky.social

This list is similar to the big pics 25 because it’s serving everyone else as much as it is me, so it’s not at all my favorite games of the century so far. I was considering writing something, perhaps some time this year

My dream is to be a college football coach and make 15 million dollars a year to yell at 19 year olds that they need to take the Bisquick Pancake & Baking Mix Bowl more seriously. My wife has a severe haircut, I cheat on her with several women named “Applebee’s Tami”

I can’t describe how sobering, cleansing and beautiful it feels to see every type of freak from every internet corner all rejoice around it’s a wonderful life this year. It’s just the best movie ever made isn’t it

For some reason a lot of people don’t like it when you point out that the people ruining everything are also deeply miserable, maybe worse so. People want these folks to laughing villains but in reality it’s a black hole that was opened in these people in childhood. Good skeets from Kat
It doesn’t fix things, but it really does bring me comfort to know how miserable some of the worst people are. Donald Trump tweeting over 200 times on Christmas. Billionaires fighting with strangers online during the holidays. Everything about Elon Musk

We may technically be poorer than them, but when it comes to what really matters, most of us are far richer. That’s why stuff like A Christmas Carol hits nearly 200 years later. Tale as old as time, bringing much comfort

Anyway, living well and being good to the people in your life remains the best revenge, there. That and expanding the Supreme Court/House of Representatives, I guess, but you have to start with the stuff you can control.

I really hope we didn’t over index on the jolly posting this year so it doesn’t become not cool enough to the kids doing it next year. It’s too good
