Just one more reason I no longer consider myself a Democrat.

Why are so many people (especially the young) disengaged from politics, don't vote? One party is authoritarian, and the other doesn't have the guts to support what's right.

Imma just gonna repost this in light of Elon's investment being worth -5%.
Susan Crawford couldn't have written a better campaign script than having Elon Musk come to WI two days before the election and literally throw millions of dollars around.

This will make every media outlet in the state.

I know it bothers you as much as it does me that journalism as an institution can’t process that what it’s seeing on a daily basis is evil people doing evil sh*t

Not incompetence, not naivete, not negligence, not mispeaking, not mixups, not miscommunications: straight-up evil people doing evil sh*t

Susan Crawford needs to run the ad:

“This election is a choice between Wisconsin values and the values of Elon Musk - the billionaire who’s trying to take away Social Security and the VA.”

As vice chair of the County Board of a fairly rural Wisconsin county with a population of 40,000, I would never conduct county business by 3rd party text app. It’s not secure and potentially illegal.

That is all.

During Trump I, I was invited to the White House along with othe WI local electeds. The people who talked to us - mostly agency undersecretaries - reminded me of my worst most entitled C+ students after 15 years of falling up. Dunning -Kruger at its worst.

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

WaPo readers need to realize that every opinion piece they read is now the product of Bezos' rightwing censorship rules. Whether the author self censors or Post management does it after review, the result is the same.

This is what oligarch controlled media looks like.
In Ruth Marcus' new column for The New Yorker in which she unveils the Washington Post column that was rejected and led to her resignation, she points out that the paper's media critic Erik Wemple also had a piece disagreeing with Bezos' new opinion mandate nixed.

President Trump and Congressional Republicans want to cut the Department of Education and sell out our kids and schools to help pay for tax cuts for rich millionaires and billionaires.

This is bad for our kids and bad for our schools. My statement ⬇️
