I was walking through the grocery store when I saw a manager wheeling a huge cart filled with Japanese snacks to the clearance area. Ran back and the cart was filled with one of my favorite (but prohibitively expensive) treats for .87 cents!

I feel like I say this every year but I really need people to hear it. Halloween is the best American holiday. Just kids outside welcomed into their world, marching around together, showing off their costumes to the elderly, parents meeting parents, neighbors catching up with neighbors.

It’s fine to use “antifascist” or “antifa,” but it doesn’t matter much.
They operate under the Friend/Enemy paradigm: EVERYONE in opposition to them is considered THE ENEMY in their eyes.
What matters is getting comfortable being seen that way and refraining from engaging in splitting on our side.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.
