#Halifax regional council meets today starting at 10am. There are also budget committee meetings tomorrow, Thursday, and possibly Friday. It's a busy week!

Perfection, even without the accordion!
Snow days aren’t really snow days anymore when you can work from home. I do truly appreciate not having to get on the road and the fact that I have a job that is able to be done from home. BUT a real snow day means no work so I’m going to need a power outage with this next storm, please.

If you're struggling right now, I hope you can find ways to be kind to yourself. To rest. Whatever needs to be done, whatever the consequences are of not doing it, it's okay. You'll deal with those consequences when you are able to. It has to be okay. So it is.

3 AM four Ativan in since midnight and my brain still won’t shut up. The anger and sadness and frustration that I’m feeling is just constantly swirling in my head scenarios that are driving me crazy. I’ve got to sleep tonight so I can talk to him coherently about this tomorrow. Le sigh. I am tired.
