In 2026, I'll still be #oneofthetwo because I rely on my health to work & I think everyone should be able to access public spaces as safely as possible.

These aren’t claims. Indigenous land rights have been recognized in our legal system since the 1700’s. Governments just spent a few hundred years trying to pretend they didn’t exist, and/or making it practically impossible to enforce them.
The decision to recognize the indigenous claim to Canadian land is a misstep, @davidfrum.bsky.social writes: “Just when Canada most urgently needs to jump-start the country’s economic growth, the country’s courts are inventing new obstacles to development.”
