Using A.I. to vet library materials flags many titles that are not accurate and matches titles against "challenged" books or reviews which could include anything. This practice is problematic. Districts should not be using A.I. to vet materials, since A.I. does not include the context or full text.
In some cases, the impact has been immediate:

New Braunfels ISD used Bookmarked to help identify 450+ library books that could violate SB 13, from The Handmaid’s Tale to Madame Bovary to Game of Thrones.

The district shut its library for two weeks to start reviewing them. 4/

Buried in the Big Beautiful Bill were changes to food assistance that demanded “any future change be cost-neutral. Translation: no more benefit increases, even if food prices skyrocket.”

The result was “institutionalized hunger.”

Elderly white hippies are Americans too and they have every right to be out there protesting if they want to and it doesn't matter if they live in DC or not. We have freedom of travel in this country and we can protest anywhere. Who doesn't Miller hate? Perhaps he even hates himself.
