Time to repeat.

It is abundantly clear that we would have the greatest benefit in rights, market access, regulatory participation as well as influence for progress and change by being a full member of the EU.

We expect a centimetre of rain today.

A good day to play Aqualung.

Reducing personal tax allowances hastens the bringing of Pensioners solely on the full State Pension into tax.

The Triple Lock becomes pointless as any increase is reduced by whatever the Basic Rate is at the time.

As a result more will have to resort to Pension Credit.

So another weaselly report on BBC News by Chris Mason.

So, here's a thing, a tiny thing. Along with all the any other mention of Trump in the Oversight files is a bunch of Excel files. One is about properties around Palm Beach, the top 100 list of Customers with their Gas Consumption.

They're all redacted except Trump for Mar a Lago.

There appears to be a presumption amongst Humanists, or their organisations, that if you express yourself as atheist that you must be a Humanists.

Atheists tend not to think exactly the same as other Atheists, and their other beliefs may be just as unsupportable as anyone that has a Faith.

In the post Tim Davie BBC, it is fervently hoped that radio gets more attention than podcasts.

The question publishers used to ask me a lot when I pitched books to them was, “But what’s the *Journey*?” It reliably made me wince. I don’t want to write books with *Journeys*. I want to write books that bump along messily, with many detours, to unplanned destinations, much like life.

I see trickle down is fashionable again from outré American 'economists'.

It has always been bizarre to me that the US still doesn't have party politics and that it's still essentially Whigs and Tories, and as in the 18th century they mix promiscuously.

Which is why they allowed themselves to be led by the Gangster in Chief.

The reason to persist with a national public licence is not just about News but also the Cultures of the United Kingdom and its founding principles to Inform, Educate and Entertain.

Pitifully those principles were watered down into an essay but still essentially the same.

I have applied for my over 70 driving licence, it's certainly official. I am old and can no longer drive minibuses or C1 lorries.

I'm actually over 70 at the beginning of next year.

I see the Flickr 30 year subscription is getting to be worthless as it's $2,400 for $3,500 value and the bid increment is %1 ($350).

What you’re witnessing is a populist assault on the BBC.

This is not an institutional scandal in any meaningful sense of the word. It is an attack on public service broadcasting.

The significant problem with the argument about the editing of Trump's 2 Hour speech on January 6 is that it wasn't signified with a flash or caption and that it encapsulated perfectly Trump's intent.

It is a thing fundamentally misunderstood that the reason given for resignation is certainly not the real reason.

I suppose the American people will realise that Trump has given them rationing for Thanksgiving.

We watched the Celebrity Traitors for the first time last night and the general response was that it was largely tedium with occasional ridiculous moments.

As it's the kind of game that's supposed to happen over a couple of hours (often as part of a Corp Away Day), to stretch out over weeks ugh.

Is there somewhere we can confine those that repeat the phrase "rapidly aging population"?

It may be that time seems to go faster and that relativity is a thing but if we're on the same planet we age at the same fucking rate.

I will concede I've lost a few days by crossing the date line.

I'm not sure how many will mourn Dick Cheyney, he may have stood against the insanity of Trump but he was a leading part of the NeoCons which opened the door to fantasy power politics.

He may not have suborned his own Govts but he did all he could to destabilise others.
