“Imposter syndrome” is just a fancy name for internalized racism/sexism/etc. It’s the coddled nepo babies who should feel like imposters.
The record for the latest first snow of the season here in Boulder, CO is today, November 17. It’s not going to snow today, so we’re setting a new record this year, beating the old record from 2021. #climatechanged

My wife was asking, if ICE smashes my car window and drag me off, can I sue? And I said, basically no. That’s why Colorado should expand its civil rights statute (CRS 13-21-131) to apply to the feds. (But don’t call it “converse 1983” - too lawyerly!)
Resuscitating State Damages Remedies Against Federal Officials
There are forceful legal arguments that individuals can use state civil rights statutes to sue federal employees who violate the U.S. Constitution.

It’s probably just a matter of time before they start “testing the boundaries” if the Third Amendment. “ICE agents aren’t ‘Soldiers’”!

FIFA loves dictators and is in bed with wealthy Saudis and Qataris, just like Trump. I’m thinking of bailing out of the lottery for World Cup 2026 tickets.

Australia's extensive solar power penetration makes so much energy that the government wants to offer free electricity at peak hours.

Folks, how much more blatant does the surveillance need to be? Gen AI apps collect your data ... beyond your chat session ... often for years. Don't fall for the squishy ToS language "may use."

Read this paper.

Thank you, California! We’re going to have to gain a seat in Colorado the old-fashioned way, and I’m not sure the state could be re-gerrymandered to squeeze out another Dem seat on top of that.
“Republicans appear to have all but abandoned their efforts to defeat a Democratic gerrymander of California’s House districts one week before it goes before voters.”

I’ve been thinking about how hard the founding fathers cooked with the Third Amendment.

Imagine being forced to house ICE. I can’t imagine they wash their hands. They’ve never done laundry in their lives. They’d break your stuff if you didn’t cut the crusts off their sandwiches.
