🧪 98% researchers value publishing null/negative results—yet <20% actually submit them.
🗑️ ~€26B wasted in Europe from duplicating unpublished null data

Fuck this.
Spotted in Kansas City, Missouri:

Patriot Front—a white nationalist hate group—holding its annual Memorial Day march in front of the national WWI museum and memorial.

They wore masks, carried shields and flags.

Fascism sets in EXACTLY like this. Days go by. Nothing improves. The people wait with bated breath for SOMETHING or SOMEONE to help. Court orders, but no enforcement. Time passes. We become desensitized. Life goes on. Rights are chipped away. Life goes on. People die. Life goes on.

I've been very nostalgic about Japan lately and cozy Japanese literature has helped fuel it.

My favorite book of the month was The House in the Cerulean Sea. I learned the most from This Book is Anti-Racist. What You are Looking for is at the Library was the most impactful, quick read.

I read a lot, like over 40 books in the past 4 months a lot, and I am reading a book with a fat protagonist for the first time ever. I didn't know it was something I was missing and needing in a novel.

Sotomayor is right. According to this Supreme Court, the US can now kidnap, detain, and fly legal immigrants and citizens to a foreign country's prison, even if it's a whoopsie.
