#Poetry -- Such a pretty book! I know the main style now is a lot more with images and creative type treatments, but this just sings to me. (pic by Pearl Pirie, screengrabbed by me.) A few copies still available signed, or you can get one from asterismbooks.com if you want to gaze at this eye candy.

Sadly, ICE learned what not to do in Minnesota… they have not left… but are spreading out in disguise tricking and nabbing people before we can respond. We need a new plan….

Holy crap. Oh sure, make people drunker and they'll be less likely to notice we're taking over the whole fucking world. Crikey.

Gonna start posting about this a bit more to try and get it on my mind. I'm not sure what to do if no small press goes for it; it's not meant for trad publication. Too scrappy and short
it's been 2 years since i wrote my magical realism novel about the care industry and unionists with guns, 1.5 years since i started a small edit of it, and i'm on the second to last chapter

Next year, when the treacle surrounding this date begins to cloy, I vow to recall this other more wholesome significance of the day:
Yes it’s Valentine’s Day. But it’s also the chosen birthday of Frederick Douglass who was born in 1818 on a plantation in Talbot County, Maryland. He escaped from slavery & rose to become the most eloquent and forceful voice for the abolition of slavery & for Black voting rights in the U.S.

“DHS traps people with serial killer methods” arrives in the news one (1) day after “DHS taunts jailed children with Nazi methods,” for those keeping track
ICE using the same ruse that Ted Bundy used to kidnap people should tell you something.
CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

I think “floaty boats murder monster” is how I’m going to refer to all bears from now on
Franzi Schimmer captured this Grizzly bear in Brooks Falls, Alaska just floating along, tippy-tapping down the river, browsing the salmon.

Prior to hibernation, up to 40% of a bear's body mass is fat, which is less dense than water (~0.9 g/cm^2), so the murder-monster is also a floaty-boaty.

Even without an on-campus voting site, NCAT students still marched to the polls. 💙💛 Students at North Carolina A&T showed that barriers won’t stop their voices. When access isn’t easy, they organize. ...

The people who are telling you they are withdrawing ICE from Minnesota are the same people who told you a year ago they would release the Epstein Files in full.

They are not to be trusted. They are allergic to truth and incapable of decency.

Stay vigilant.
Stay united.
Keep fighting.
We will win.
