Imagine proposing “rebates” for US citizens with the $ you illegally taxed from the same citizens thru tariffs, raising inflation & destroying international relationships in the process, after losing a big % thru the costs/inefficiencies that you would have avoided if u just hadn’t done the tariffs.

I chose Larry Summers.

Nixon fought all the way to the Supreme Court to stop recordings of himself talking like this from becoming public. Aside from the substance of guilt they revealed, people really were scandalized to hear POTUS talking like that, and he was mortified. Thus the famous [expletive deleted] transcripts.
I’m not going to pretend it’s easy to say something in the moment when you witness the president do this and you’re aboard Air Force One with all the uniformed officers and secret service and fancy wood accents, but this is really an instance where you should. people.com/donald-trump...

Everybody is talking about the new reporting on DOJ corruption today. Please note this as well: The Trump Murder Memo was also produced by DOJ. It's another window into how badly DOJ has been corrupted.

This is arguably worse than the Bush torture memo. Liberal commentators should talk about it.
Trump's illegal murders in the Caribbean just got worse. An internal DOJ memo on the bombings says the victims are waging war on the US, but per NYT, it extensively cites the WH's *own claims* to this effect as evidence!

It gets even darker than that. 1/
