Bring Centres being closed on Sundays, when people actually have time to go to them, is madness.

The government's banning of Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation was UNLAWFUL, rules the High Court.

This is a massive vindication for those who fought Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people - which is facilitated by our government.

As the Olympics commence I’d like to share the fact that my friend Sarah records them in full and then consumes them in totality over the following two years. She has really been cramming them in over the last few weeks to make room for Milano Cortina.

"We are now seeing eviction rates that have not been seen in Ireland since the 1850s."

A damning reality laid bare in this piece of well-researched analysis.
'We're seeing eviction rates not seen in Ireland since the 1850s'
The issuing of 5,000 eviction notices in three months last year is quite revealing when viewed against Ireland's historical record

‘The show delivers fulsomely, and it probably delivers even more if you’re not watching through the same lens as me (completely freaking out that if they mess this up, then I can kiss The Muppet Show goodbye for another 45 years).’

They let me review the new Muppets Show special-slash-pilot.
I asked if I could write a review of The Muppet Show 50th Anniversary Special and they said yes
It’s not easy being greenlit.

the Epstein files are really devastating because they remind me of how many girls and women miss out on professional opportunities, mentorship and careers because of how many powerful, rich and influential men only view girls and women — and interactions with them — through the lens of sex

I've written about this phenomenon in my column quite a lot and spoken about it regularly on the @louisemcsharry.bsky.social podcast and if I'm being totally honest at this point I think it's being done specifically to bait me.
Today, Paul Murphy said that the Government are afraid to stand up to big tech, and Micheál Martin replied "How dare you? Who the hell do you think you are? That is a reprehensible assertion."
You can gauge how true an accusation is by how flowery they get in the language of their rebuttal.

You find the idea that you're a top-down person "repugnant"? You're not just saying it's untrue, you're calling it out as REPUGNANT?

I'm afraid that makes it an extremely accurate accusation.

The spinelessness of our government is astonishing.

"The fascist enabling, CSAM-producing platform has some good features too, yanno?", is a hell of a take. Christ.

They need to be raked over the coals for this at every opportunity.
My word.

The Taoiseach, in China, says "platforms can be misused and abused or they can be used for positive reasons as well..." and says that should be considered carefully "before jumping to conclusions" on whether it's appropriate for the Government to be on X.
