even in social spaces where lots of people claim to be autistic ive found a lot of people actually really dont extend you any grace for things like "stuttering" or "taking a few seconds to be able to answer" lol, let alone anything worse

I think it sucks how a lot of people seem to see "being autistic" as like. purely mild quirkiness that's often annoying and you should be able to turn off if you actually tried hard. and you sometimes get this in like "alternative" spaces
