The issue with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is that there is too much production. Give me my beloved Rose Parade with some decent floats, a dozen marching bands, and mindless parade jabber. I don't want big balloons and musical numbers.

Been playing the DC Comics MMO recently. It's totally serviceable, and I'm a sucker who keeps being entertained by seeing DC stuff on my screen. Heck, I even enjoyed fighting The Batman Who Laughs. (It helps because he only shows up once and doesn't linger forever)

Just to both show I'm still alive and also piss people off, Commander is a stupid format and clearly not a good way to play Magic. If everyone isn't on the same power level or if someone gets knocked out early, people have a bad time.

I have played 4 games of Innovation. I have won every single one. Accusations of beginner's luck from my opponents begin to ring hollow. Perhaps I am just a master of CIV but it's a card game.

Naked Gun is hysterical, and not to get too weirdly fond of movies, but it was a lot of fun to see it with a packed crowd of people laughing.

I suppose I shouldn't make grand generalizations, but here I go anyway: having seen improv comedy in Vancouver and Los Angeles, Los Angeles is a LOT better. Call me a comedy hipster.

If you think Land Acknowledgements are pointless, wait until you are in a training where they get the name wrong of the tribe they are trying to acknowledge.
If you aren't giving the land back, don't waste your time saying you're sorry, but you need to at least get the name right!
