The House of Representatives doesn’t vote on positions appointed by the executive office, the Senate does.
Republicans control the House majority anyway, not just the Senate.
If every Dem votes against a nom & every Republican for them, they’re still confirmed.

It looks to me like DSA tried to scrub the website (the current "platform" appears to be nothing but glossy slogans), but their international committee page still has a description of delegates adopting the amendment, with a google drive link to the document.

Important to note, tech fascists like Musk weren't alone in seeking the end of USAID. DSA delegates at their 2021 convention overwhelmingly approved a Platform amendment that literally called for abolishing USAID, claiming it was an agency that "cynically disguise[d] capitalist control as aid".

Um, it’s not only a waste of time but it’s bad PR too. Impeachment is a long and tedious process and zero accountability happened the last two times he was impeached. You know what ALSO puts it “on record?” Those statements that both Jeffries and Schumer put out you all keep complaining about.

Our people stayed home in ‘24. It is the closest race in the 21st century. We still lost by 1.5% & his numbers went up in 90% of all counties. We’re seeing a reset on those stats but is it enough to fight in TX, or in other Red states? #expand We need to win the House by +21/23 seats, not +3.
