My habits also force me to abstain from coffee during Ramadan. I don't drink coffee soon after waking. I'm up at 5:00 and don't have my first cup until about 8:00. .
So, when fasting starts, I wake up before sunrise to eat food and drink water. Coffee never has a chance.
