This is the final year of the 'tiered groups' for WoHo. Groups were organized based on world rankings (Group A: 1-5, Group B: 6-10)

Switzerland was the 5th-ranked team, so they've played Canada, USA, Czechia, Finland)

Sweden (ranked 6th) played Germamy, Italy, etc.

Why does it seem like the #1 seed has the tougher semi? The USA is playing an undefeated team and Canada is playing a team that's won one game. The Olympics is whacky.
