I wish I could remember which writer gave me this advice on Twitter - it must be well over a decade ago - when I was struggling to write a particular character.
“Just talk to them”, she suggested. So I metaphorically took this character out for a coffee - just me and them, having a chat.

Having nailed down the plots for Book 2, my head is filled with ideas and I have that burning urge to sit and type for HOURS.
So of course, Life has decided that I will absolutely not have more than 5 minutes to do so between now and probably next Tuesday 🙄
