Some days, it's very hard to live by the principles of Dudeism. I have to remind myself regularly what they are:

To just take it easy;
To be dude (easygoing) to everyone I meet;
To keep my mind limber.

The Dude abides. And so shall we.
Another thing outsiders don't know about Memphis: we have a great library system.

Hometown pride! Tennessee has some gawdawful politicians, but we also have some great ones like Steve Cohen.
Trump & the GOP made billionaires and tech oligarchs so rich that they happily fund Trump’s vanity projects—his White House ballroom, his Kennedy Center takeover, even cutting checks for “Melania", the most panned movie of all time.

Meanwhile working families get NOTHING. Corruption in plain sight.

We’ve gone from “the Epstein files/client list are on Pam Bondi’s desk,” to “there is no client list,” to 3 million files dumped overnight. All under Trump.

They hoped you wouldn't notice. Now they hope you think it's over—without any of these men even standing trial.

We can't let that happen.

Dorner Carmichael's year as a Red Cross volunteer during the Vietnam War changed her life.

Five decades later, Carmichael drew on her days as a "Donut Dolly" to help give U.S. troops in Poland a sense of normalcy while deployed far from home.

Re-upping this, as I'm seeing many more anonymous accounts claiming things they "heard from someone who knows" or what their "neighbor said they saw," but with no verification.

Even if—especially if—someone appears to be against what's going on, please don't share anonymous, no-proof claims. 🙏🏻
As things get worse and accurate info becomes more crucial, I strongly advise not believing—and especially not sharing—anything "reported" by anonymous posters, bloggers, or "media."

I understand why someone wouldn't wish to use their name; but if we don't know who they are we can't trust them. 1/2

I watched a show on Nebula presenting highly detailed calculations proving it's faster if everyone stands on escalators instead of one side stand/one side walk.

Seriously, dudes? Overkill. Stop with the calculations and look to see if there is a line of people waiting to get on the escalator.

If you treated an animal like this, you'd be charged with abuse.

We can’t let these people waste away for years in these detention camps (including children).
I’m hearing about the longtime camp in TX but there must be many others!

'"I'm not getting into the legality of everything," one agent responds tersely.'

And there we have the problem.
The police chief in a small Minnesota city intervened to prevent ICE agents from arresting a local woman who had been observing and recording them from her car, when they took her into custody.

It's believed to be the first time a local police department in Minnesota intervened in an ICE action.

Good for the Danish veterans, and shame on the despicable nincompoop who inhabits the White House. That he treats everyone this way is neither an apology nor an excuse. It's disheartening that 73% of Republicans still approve of him as President. Oh my country, why?
Hundreds of Danish veterans, many of whom fought alongside U.S. troops, staged a silent protest outside the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen on Saturday in response to threats to take over Greenland and the downplaying of their combat contributions.
