'ditching paper boarding passes would lead to “faster, smarter, and greener” travel.'
Yeah I want to see the "green" analysis on that.
And it's more common than not for commercial apps to run in the background and send endless tracking requests even after you close the app.

More info: I bought my first home 25 years ago, and I'd been making a good income in IT almost since I left college. But I'd lived in high COLA areas. So although housing affordability is certainly worse now, it's not a new thing. I only managed the first time because I got extraordinarily lucky.

Average age of first-time homebuyer: 40. (I was 45 when I could finally afford to buy a place.)
With a 50-year mortgage, you'd be 90 when it was paid off. American life expectancy is 78.4 years.

We should be fair. The only thing he knows about homes for average people is how to avoid renting to Black folks.

Yup. Just because you want a job, doesn't mean you can do the job.

I had a colonoscopy and EGD last year. One week later I had a GI hemorrhage and lost 40% of my blood, so while I was in the hospital for that, they did both the scopes again. Prep for the 2nd time was easier because hospital kitchen had almost no food I can eat safely.

Trump has never lived in the rational world. He is bluster on top of delusion on top of terror and hunger and need. He cannot be expected to think or believe rational things - he's not capable of it. But he is capable of having someone firebomb Congress if he feels threatened. So I worry.

On the principle of "never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence", your theory about Johnson could well be correct. The quirk here is that Trump is a malignant narcissist with dementia, and Republicans almost always do exactly what he wants.

That's one hell of a metaphor! 🔥
My concern is that Johnson is Trump's sock puppet. It doesn't matter whether Grijalva's vote would actually result in the release of the Epstein files. What matters is whether Trump thinks it would. There's no other reason not to seat her.

That's kinda what I was thinking.
I don't know the mechanics nearly as well as I should like to, but surely this doesn't pass without a House vote, which means Johnson has to convene the House, which means Johnson has to swear in Grijalva? Unless he refuses to swear her in until after the midterms.
