Okay, so after enraging your entire base, you're gonna go ahead and get rid of the thing that calms everyone down. It's like the Founders voting to get rid of Ketrecel White.

This furloughed fed worker has a lot to say about your spineless caving.
Tim Kaine on backlash he's getting: "I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct 1, b/c I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed fed worker would say to me at church, or what somebody would say about SNAP"

I also want to point out that this preview photo is hilarious, because he looks like a dog being yelled at for pooping on the carpet, but he doesn't know what to do because that's his nature.
Kaine on why he thinks just getting a vote on healthcare is a win: "We're the minority party, but everybody will get to see who is standing for them when it comes to lowering their healthcare costs"

Hint: It's not you. And boy will we remember in 2030, because sadly there's no chance in hell than Spanberger will set a recall mechanism in place to oust you sooner.

I realized a while ago that all three of my congressional reps make a lowly social media intern post press releases on here, then mute all notifications. There is not one iota of chance any of them have any idea what goes on around here.

How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

They both have failed Virginia. They both need to go.
He and Warner have been doing a cute little "you vote Yes and I'll vote No" on a lot of bills and appointments they should have easily opposed
Maybe we can primary Warner next year and Kaine will get the message

This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.
