I've started a "Maths lesson Bingo" with my students. Can anyone suggest some phrases for my next card to be 4*4?

#ALevelMaths #Mathstoday Teaching CP1 vectors to year 12 FM -one of my favourite topics to teach, but I can never find enough practice questions to build confidence. Does anyone know where I can get a bank of questions on the shortest distances type questions (point and line, point and plane, etc)?

I made a starter pack for KS5 maths (teachers, posters, and other people involved in it)
Most of the starter packs I've seen for maths teachers have been for all age groups, so this one is aimed towards sixth form (16-19 ish)
Please let me know if you'd like adding (or removing)!

Also just got this email. Brilliant tasks, updated. 🫶🏻
Unexpected email from Jonny Griffiths telling me there's a new 2026 update of his RISPS book, that's great investigations for impressionable A Level students. Download it now from www.risps.co.uk with links to Geogebra and Excel files

❤️ Love this ❤️

@mathforge.org has done what I’ve never been organised enough to do myself, and catalogued every #geometrypuzzle I’ve ever posted on social media. It looks amazing!

Today’s Y13 starter - I really like how c & d can be solved either by changing the inequality and using the original distribution, or by transforming the distribution and using the original values. #MathsToday #ALevelMaths

Is anyone else heading to the Further Mathematics Conference in London today? I’m looking forward to a day out of college doing #ALevelMaths!

Lovely task for #ALevelMaths 😍
In #MathsToday (well the highlight of this week)
A few nice tasks with my Lower Sixth FM task.
This one certainly challenged them more than I thought on their rules of indices

In #MathsToday, Year 12 and I enjoyed doing some Susan Wall tasks.

I particularly enjoyed this one. We matched the graphs up, and then found the coordinates of all the interesting points.

Spent a slightly painful 15 minutes discussing Q2 with Y12 today. The problem wasn’t with spotting the patterns, but trying to formulate that into full sentences. If you teach #ALevelMaths, I’d be interested to know how your students get on with similar “describe and explain” tasks. #MathsToday

Good morning! Does anyone have a nice graphic of the set notation symbols, including the R, N for real numbers, natural numbers, etc - I’m sure i had something, but can’t find it! #ALevelMaths

In #mathstoday #alevelmaths I did the simultaneous equations activity from the Mathematical Association Pure Mathematics Book (the one with the green cover)- it was a great first task to enable me to get to know my year 12 FM classes and get them talking and working together.
