My thoughts entirely. Avoided watching it until recently because …What could it add to Hannah Arendt? Was also concerned about how they would portray Göring. But Russell Crowe as a Nazi made sense and as Melissa says, the reminder is maybe necessary and timely. Watch it!
Just finished watching Nuremberg. Glad I did. The message is heavy-handed, but maybe it needs to be in this moment.

In a very minor way this reminds me of that time my local LibDem party told me not to refer to myself as a LibDem because they had expelled me. (They hadn’t, *they* got disciplined)

I agree. Entirely consistent. People saying he’s ‘working for Putin’ are also missing the point. He’s simply quite happy working WITH Putin. They are the same (although he is not remotely on Putins level intellectually)

I’m going to disagree - respectfully - Trump seems entirely consistent here. He’s a bully. He admires other bullies. He’s happy to carve-up the world between three super powers - USA, Russia & China. We might think he looks insane but his party and his base in the States doesn’t.
