We at LDV Towers have been full of love and admiration for both Mary and Ian as they dealt with his last illness. Mary writes so movingly about the excellent palliative care Ian had in the last few days of his life - and in a hospital setting too. Everyone should have such good care.

First proper miserable commute of the Winter. Pouring rain, cold, first train cancelled, next one 3 carriages rather than 6, now having to wait in freezing cold for a bus for too long. I feel like I was born to Winter in more temperate climes.

So many island communities have suffered because of the SNP’s failures.
We believe compensation should be extended to cover all areas impacted by the ferries fiasco.

We encourage as many party members as possible to vote - we have some recommendations for who to vote for, too. 👇

The last two weeks have been a tough one for @libdems.org.uk members, through no fault of their own.

We're grateful to the huge number of members, internal election candidates, and fellow Affiliated Organisations like @libdemwomen.bsky.social who have stood alongside us.

Statement below:

What a brilliant example of joint working! The way that the presidential and vice presidential candidates and official party organisations have worked together has been truly wonderful. Well done to all involved.

Harry’s samba was great tp look at if not technically perfect #scd #strictly

Vicky and Kai’s tango was dramatic and intoxicating. I did actually rhink for a second that she had done Kai in at the end! Also great to see such a new song get the #strictly treatment #scd

Banging salsa from Amber and Nikita! How is it possible to dance like you haven’t been swung by someone at velocity through several rotations? #scd #strictly

George and Alexis: it was good but not as perfect as Shirley said. I felt like it was a bit clunky in places. I don’t think the shadow stuff at the start was that smooth. #scd #strictly

What is wrong with Anton’s bow tie. It is very distracting. #scd #strictly

Balvindar and Julian knocked that out of the park! Loads of feels. Beautiful expression of love and positivity. #scd #strictly

Love Là Voix and Aljaz’s joyful foxtrot. Her costume, performance and the music were possibly better than the dance but I am smiling. #strictly #scd

Loved Alex and Johannes’s paso - he didn’t make it easy for her with the choreography. It was a bit muted but I love proper paso music. And she did well with a dance she found tough. #strictly #scd

I thought Karen and Carlos’s Charleston was possibly a wee bit too measured but I still enjoyed it. #strictly #scd

When you mistake something for a professional dance you know that the couple must be amazing. Very good cha cha from Lewis and Katya. It is time she won a series. #scd #strictly

So what do we think is going to happen in #celebritytraitors tonight? Alan is, I think, screwed but I hope Cat pulls it off. She has played a great game and I have not, nor will I ever, forgive the others for Stephen Fry going. The Faithfuls are in a strong position but they have bungled before.

I think this is justified. People’s homes and families are off limits.

I am angry and my heart is in a million bits but I will not rest until we have the fair, free and open society that the preamble to our constitution speaks of.

Well @pruebray.bsky.social just won my vote for Party President. The Party needs senior leaders like a President who is willing to stand up for members.
