Many Canadians living abroad already have their postal ballots, 4 weeks ahead of the election.
That efficiency is needed for UK elections.
Only 50% of postal ballots from abroad were counted at last year's election. We need better.

This desperately needs fixing. Imagine having to live under that uncertainty in the last month of being in a country of sanctuary for 3 years. It's entirely unnecessary to have such a restriction, and bureaucracy winning over human decency.
Ukrainians have to wait until their 3 year visa is in its final 28 days to ask for an 18 month extension, which impedes jobs & renting when there are two or three months left on it
