The lies are the point. The lack of investigation is the point. Gaslighting us about videos we've all seen is the point. Disobeying courts is the point. Falsely calling protesters domestic terrorists is the point.

You've never wanted anything as much as Donald Trump wants a civil war.

If you’d like to tangibly help Minnesota, let’s spread the word and donate where we can.

This is FAR more impactful than doomscrolling or angry posting fueling someone else’s doomscrolling.

No act of resistance is too small or insignificant.

for the weekend crowd: I dug into a new podcast that pins a bunch of notorious murders on a long-dead Jewish man from San Diego. It's the ugliest true crime property in recent memory. [gift link] defector.com/michael-conn...

Videos verified by The New York Times show the man federal agents shot and killed in Minneapolis on Saturday was holding a phone, not a gun, before the agents took him to the ground and shot him. At least 10 shots appear to have been fired within five seconds. www.nytimes.com/interactive/...

The Star Tribune reports that federal agents "attempted to order local police from the scene" where a man was shot and killed by feds this morning, but Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara refused and "instructed his officers to preserve the scene."

Q: They defied a search warrant this morning. Do you think they'll abide by a federal court order?

FREY: Everybody listen to that question. The question is 'will this administration abide by a court order.' These are the underpinnings of our democracy and Constitution. The answer better be yes.

This is the greatest movie scene of all time. If you think otherwise, you are mistaken.
This is a great place to start. Casablanca came out in 1942. When they filmed this, they did not know how the war would end.

New: Alex Pretti, the man killed by the Trump-Vance mob of agents was an outdoorsmen, a mountain biker, an ICU nurse who "would go out of his way to help," say Veterans Affairs colleagues.

Cheerful. Funny. Gentle.

And still, per sources, Trump officials are urging staff to call him a "terrorist."

Yes.
Just staggered by the complete moral void of not even *pretending* to wait for more information before pivoting to “the opponent of the state deserved it.” It is so insanely depraved. Soulless.

This is courage. Looking a masked, government fascist dead in the eye, face to face, knowing full well that your life is on the line.

If elected officials had 1/10th of Alex Pretti's resolve, we would have far fewer troubles.

Republicans are in favor of having a gun to defend yourself from a tyrannical government unless you have a gun to defend yourself from a tyrannical government
Pretti clearly did not brandish his gun. Which means the government is saying he was killed for legally exercising his right to carry.

It’s as clear-cut a violation of the Second Amendment as I can possibly imagine. And we’re about to see the bulk of the gun rights crowd defend his murder.

If you are a local law enforcement officer who is part of a large metropolitan police force, and you have a signed warrant and working firearms, how can you you be “denied access”?
Don’t ASK. It’s your city.
Multiple officials of the US federal government are spending their day rather blatantly obstructing Minnesota law enforcement and covering up a murder.
