It was always going to be a xenophobic caricature. They used the tried old trope of the foreign heel yelling in a fire gn language. Maybe they originally thought they would be clever, but nobody in that company had the intelligence to book it.
Muhammad Hassan will always strike me as an interesting example because he was initially a more nuanced character with legitimate grievances before ultimately being reduced to a racist, xenophobic caricature.
Hassan was current events, but against wasn't pushing a paristan agenda really.
And I'm only talking about the canonical stuff on the show, obviously podcasts and the way HHH positions himself adjacent to the admin off camera is obvious, but it seems notable that they don't want that on screen.
