Seconding this; I think anyone with the skills and capabilities can be a fulltime creative, but the time needed to actually reach that stability is extremely difficult, especially now, without additional help. (+)
Many full time creatives have “invisible safety nets” like bread-winning partners, trust funds, external support, etc. No shame on anyone, but it creates a false vision of success. The cost of going to cons alone on top of hoping to eat as a freelancer are untenable, IMO.
When people hear that I'm returning to part time work they often ask "are things not going well with your art?"
The problem really is things are going well, but the world is so unstable that I long for some consistency and income that I don't have to pay quarterly taxes on

Honestly the best Halloween I've had. I am so lucky to have the friends I have. They've been so supportive. And I don't need to be wasted or drugged to have a good time and laugh. That's how I know this is real and good.

I work at a maid Cafe and these girls are so cute. This year I was able to get my own room separated so they could have more space and they all looked at me with with tears and were like "why? Don't leave us! You can stay!!"

Silent Hill f is maybe my fav game after ff7 and witcher 3. I relate so strongly to hiniko, and it makes me cry to see this kind of representation in a game like this. I see so much of myself in this character. It's like listening to a song and the lyrics finally put words to your feelings.
