I’d still sort them 1-4-3-2 (with a big-ass gap between 3 and 2), but this was fun as hell in spite of some very difficult (even for me!) horror moments to stomach. 4 and 3 are very different but both took some big swings and largely connected. You love to see that

I started The Dead Zone this afternoon. I've never read it and it is an absolute banger so far. I'd been in the short story phase - just finished Everything's Eventual (1408 legit might be his scariest short story) - but I kept seeing Dead Zone among people's favorite King books and I can see why.
