Sometime around 2010 or so, my nephew David got a dog. Smallz was half Labrador retriever, half Newfie: a big black bundle of love, the size and *energy* of his adventurous Labrador dad, and the coat and strength of his Newfie mom.

This is a familiar pattern, and not familiar in a good way.
So Donald Trump is creating an Autism Registry. Guess it's easier for RFK Jr to eliminate "undesirables" once there's a list of them...

BREAKING: Donald Trump Calls For The Impeachment Of The Federal Judge Who Ruled Against Him
This is a significant escalation in rhetoric, and the first time Trump directly called for a federal judge's impeachment.

Surely the people who are outraged about tearing down Confederate statues are...hold on, I've been handed a note.
Trump’s Pentagon is erasing Navajo Code Talkers—Indigenous warriors who helped win WWII—from military websites. This isn’t about “efficiency.” It’s about whitewashing history and erasing those who don’t fit his MAGA narrative.

If you haven't read Sinclair Lewis' IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE, that's okay. It's good and short and makes a lot of excellent points about the creeping spread of fascism, but you've seen these same points retread over and over again since he wrote it...

RFK Jr. thinks that a clinical trial should be done for the entire childhood vaccine schedule. Here’s why that will never happen.

1. You can’t do a randomized trial of something that we already know is safe and effective. There would have to be a placebo group that didn’t get vaxxed. Unethical.

I will miss President Biden's common sense and decency. 😔

For everyone saying that SCOTUS can’t constitutionally end birthright citizenship… look, they’re not going to come outright and say “we overrule the 14th amendment of the United States.”

They’ll to do it the way they’ve overruled our other rights: by chipping away at it until nothing’s left.

I would like to speak up today for the trans community.

You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1
