AP and others *have* been on the ground and interviewing families and telling their stories, and the people on the boats appear to the mostly working class low-level people smuggling cocaine, not hardened cartel operatives bringing in fentanyl as the admin repeatedly has suggested.
Cotton on Trump's boat strikes: "Use common sense. If any of these had been boats full of fisherman or refugees, CNN would've already been on the ground & interviewed all their families & told their stories. We can be confident all of these strikes have been against cartel-based drug traffickers."

According to ICE, the daily per person cost of its Alternatives to Detention - Intensive Supervised Appearance Program (ATD-ISAP) is "less than $4.20 per day — a stark contrast from the cost of detention, which is around $152 per day."

So far in 2025, at least 23 people have died in ICE custody — but there are also more people in detention than ever before.

Curious how the rise in deaths compares to the rise in the detained population, I ran some quick numbers. Here’s what I found, with…

"I do crimes for a *living*, boys."
An ICE employee was among 16 men arrested after trying to solicit a minor for sex in Bloomington, Minnesota, police say

"When he was arrested, he said, 'I'm ICE, boys,'" Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges said during a press conference. "Well, unfortunately for him, we locked him up."

Today there was an attempted ICE raid in Bensonhurst & community members showed up. Even though NYPD collaborated with ICE by trying to disburse the crowd; community members stood their ground & ICE left without kidnapping a single person per the rapid response groups I'm on. We protect us!

Apropos of absolutely nothing in particular, a moment from my youth:

Senior year in high school. My friend Bill and I are riding the bus to Harvard Square. The bus stops at several spots in Medford and Cambridge, and at every stop teenagers get on--a great sampler of the teenagers of the area.

Earlier this year, when I walked into this Costco in Washington County for the first time in years, I noticed a striking difference from the other Portland-area Costcos I'd been to. There was far more Asian food. Here's my story that came from that: www.oregonlive.com/retail/2025/...

The high share of customers of Asian heritage supports a diverse mix of food choices at this grocery in the heart of Washington County.

It’s also bad journalism. Border Patrol doesn’t have the right to give “citations” to people honking their horns, but in article they have an attorney saying that could be illegal interference

I looked up the attorney. He’s some personal injury attorney! How TF is he an expert?

These records indicate that someone successfully impersonated the FBI in order to get me swatted. I was already aware this had happened but had to wait nearly a year to get the document that proves it. My reports to the Dallas Police Department about this have gone unanswered.
