All joking aside, the fundamental flaw with some people's view of politics is that no bad result is ever the fault of the bad actor who did it. It's always the fault of every other actor who "failed to stop them". The obvious drawbacks to this way of thinking are somehow obscured to its adherents.

I can't begin to express how disgusted I am by the fact that the online left discourse is dominated by those who insist that exercising your duty as a citizen of a democratic nation - to vote in every election for the common good - should be CONDITIONAL upon certain criteria being met.

The thing about far-left actors like Corbyn, Sultana, and Mélenchon is that they are usually fuelled purely by egocentrism and believe that only they can / deserve to lead whatever revolution they fervently and aggressively believe in.
