@cdnhistoryehx.bsky.social Do you think these would have been taken around the time they were doing Second City?
I just realized the two pictures I posted were taken the same day in 1974.
Same clothes, car and background.
Gilda Radner took one picture and Catherine O'Hara took the other.

You know why this pisses me off, why did former PM Mulroney (Conservative) allow the sale of our Canadian salt mine (the largest in the world) in 1990 to an American company?

This is one of many reasons Cons should never be allowed power, they sell off our assets.

Projection is the MAGA modus operandi.
Trump’s Republicans are doing everything they told us the Democrats would do.

Every accusation is a confession.

Sifto was founded by Sam Platt who was prospecting for oil in 1866, and instead of oil encountered rock salt in Goderich Harbour on Lake Huron. Sifto Canada was formed in 1950 and the company was acquired by the United States chemical company Compass Minerals in the 1990s.

#Canada if we’d like to participate in Government of Canada bonds designed to allow Canadians to help invest in building our country, we can petition and we’d need a sponsor MP. Is this something we want? Does anyone have an MP who’s amenable ?
Sir, Canadians could really use a vehicle, or vehicles, that will allow us to help. Maybe small sum bonds, ex: War Bonds, Local Canadian Greenhouses Bonds, etc. Start them at $5 so everyone can participate. We have the commitment, and we have the energy. Give us a focus. We can take care of the rest
