I don’t condone political violence, but I do believe that you reap what you sow. Charlie Kirk sowed the seeds of hate and they’ve taken root on both sides, & today he reaped what he sowed.
Now we wait to see the effects this will have. Will they be the kick we need or will it just foment more hate?

I'm glad I've worked with K-8 autistic students so I can say how, despite the material & educational challenges their families have to contend with, how special & wonderful autistic kids are. I love them, they enrich my work every day. RFK Jr is a Nazi-era eugenicist to me, a sick fucking bastard.
As I wrote in the piece, Kennedy continues to use stigmatizing and frankly pretty shocking language to refer to people with autism, implicitly framing them as a burden on society and their families who will, as he said, "never pay taxes" or "write a poem."

I wish people would also focus on convincing GOP reps to do something as well. They have the majority now, but they're losing power, too. Stroke their egos, if you must. They will be historically considered heroes if they jump sides and align with democracy.
