Extremists are grooming kids in plain sight. From Roblox to Discord, hate groups are recruiting children. GPAHE documents all-white “active clubs” across 27 countries, with chapters targeting boys 15 to 17. Authorities warn the recruitment pipeline is accelerating faster than efforts to contain it.

Nothing like a meeting with your accountant to make you feel like something stuck on the heel of the universe.

My one paying gig right now isn’t enough, folks, so if you’ve got a need for a proven game developer and creative director in tabletop or adjacent fields please let me know. 🙏🏻

Though nothing has yet approached the sheer fashy asecthic of some of the Olympic commercials.

This might be the worst bunch of commercials I've ever seen. Just scams, treacly bullshit, memberberries and the worst companies you know lying about how awesome they are to appeal to the typical Maga voter.

I think one of the potential long term consequences of not completely dismantling, condemning and prosecuting ICE is that local cops become even more violent as they understand elected elites are either intimidated by criticism, or openly cheering increased brutality.

So it's Black History Month and that means I think it's a good time to get familiar with Mike Pondsmith, if you're not already.

When you see R. Talsorian Games, that's him. When you see Cyberpunk 2077, that's his world.

Mekton, Castle Falkenstein, also him.

🚨 New: We built a visual tracker of the warehouses ICE is targeting across the US.

Working off an idea from @actualkatherine.bsky.social, we’ve mapped active searches, canceled deals, and linked state property records.

So this is wild but a little bit of clarification in that the /pol/ being described here was a 'reincarnation' of the older version that existed prior to it but which was just as vile in the mid 00's.
That feeling when you, a terrorism and extremism scholar, see documentary evidence that shows moot met with Jeffery Epstein on the same day /pol was launched:

Getting arrested has rarely helped your movement. It just puts you in increased danger of suffering violence, and makes it more likely you'll be on their radar next time around.
When going out to protest, the goal shouldn’t be to get arrested. Do not run yourself into arrests. Do not just hand yourself over to the state.

I love that Trump, in slow rolling the Epstein releases to presumably protect himself, is throwing everyone else named in them to the wolves as each drip drop release names a new handful of wealthy assholes who get their very own media circus until the next drop.

Lotta 'checkmate leftists' energy in the replies to Obama's post promoting <squints> an Ezra Klein podcast?
Guess it's all sorted now that America's nicest war criminal president has recommended the 'let's all just get along and let rich people lead us' guy's podcast.

This is the way. Any 2028 Dem candidates need to start saying that on Day One: (1) all ICE agents fired; (2) pensions/benefits defunded; (3) forced to pay backpay as restitution to victims; and (4) only way to avoid prison is to become a cooperating informant
Maybe instead of identifying specific ICE agents who do particularly heinous things, we could just penalize everyone who was on payroll at the agency starting by a certain date.

NATURE has done a terrific (if depressing) job of summarizing the devastating cuts to science during Trump's first year. At this point, only the willingness of the House and Senate to restore research budgets prevents scientific extinction. www.nature.com/immersive/d4...

I don't want to be the killjoy here, but this is something that's been happening for decades with regular cops. Richard Leo covered it in the '90s describing police taping phone books to suspects' heads and beating them with batons to prevent them from showing any bruising in court.
