Didn’t that Milo guy get dropped because he was pro pedophilia? I mean I know that has become a standard Republican position now, but weird that no one mentions it.

Dude. Yes. Alito and Thomas are of course the standout examples, but all of the Republican justices have tells in their writing and their questioning indicating that they are, to varying degrees, marinating their brains in dumb bitch juice
My theory, fwiw, is that Supreme Court Justices are not immune to Twitter brain poisoning. I suspect all six have horrific information environments and have therefore lost the ability to understand the people who don't agree with them.
The part that I can't figure out is what John Roberts thinks he is doing. He used to seem to be a judge who was very attentive to appearances, I think on a theory that you can't draw too much attention to yourself without undermining your ability to continue to shape the law.

I can't stop thinking about the purported drug smugglers being murdered by the US military. The punishment for drug offenses isn't the death penalty. This is just bloodlust and men in suits playing with lives they don't care about. It's truly grotesque and gravely compromises this country.

Listen, Paul Dano doesn’t need me to stick up for him, but this is just the most absurd conversation to even be having. It has nothing to do with Dano; it’s about the fact that Tarantino apparently not only lacks imagination about women but also lacks much imagination about men.

The Supreme Court paved the way for a felon to return to the presidency — where, behind the shield of office, that felon has ordered a string of murders.
The boat was split in half. 9 men were dead. 2 more clung to a floating piece of wreckage and tried desperately to flip it over for 41 minutes straight. There was no possible way they were going anywhere.

Then they were killed in cold blood by the U.S. military.

I came from a military family and remember being disgusted when someone said that people in the military are all psychopathic killers and now…

I don’t believe all members are, but the leadership is without a doubt.

It's good—very good, and very important—that district courts keep issuing these 100-page rulings upholding the law. It must be incredibly dispiriting to see them overturned in a two-page, lawless, unsigned order, but please, keep them coming. They expose SCOTUS' corruption like nothing else.

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

In 2017, Trump called up Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte to tell him what a great job he was doing with the drug problem. Duterte told the media Trump said he did it "the right way"

Duterte is awaiting trial in Hague right now for what he did.

Correct me if I’m wrong, sincerely, but isn’t his defense to “you committed a war crime” just … “yes, I did, but I’d like to clarify the details of how it was committed”?

Killing someone actively running drugs in this way is a crime. “They kept going!” doesn’t change that.

Even if they were on a "drug mission," the first strike was illegal and the second strike even more wildly illegal.

This is absolute nonsense from someone who committed war crimes and is now scrambling for cover. Lock him up.
