These proposed concessions to the Welfare Bill don’t go far enough.

❌ No consultation with disabled people
❌ No government impact assessment
❌ No OBR analysis
❌ No publication of PIP or Mayfield Review

The Reasoned Amendment was clear. Disabled people are being ignored.

Our second struggling university today is Nottingham, where the job cuts stretch as far ahead as the eye can see. Colleagues have just voted for strike action if compulsory redundancies aren't ruled out. Just another miserable day in British Higher Education.
