Teachers and teacher educators, my new book, Creating a Neurodiversity-Affirming Classroom, comes out in July 2025!

Imagine a class where:
- there is no 'normal'; all 🧠s are expected + welcomed
- we teach about brains, metacognition, learning tools, + self-advocacy
- students are our best resources

I said if they study robotics at uni, funding is possible. Beaming, they exclaimed, "THE DREAM GOES ON!"

I just turned 40 but I might as well be 400.

The research should reflect the needs of the autistic communities & autistic people of all kinds.
The research should be truly ethical and truly collaborative, with autistic people leading & having real authority within the projects/
