Interesting question: does there come a point where squeezing Russian oil & gas revenues further doesn't make much difference, & the focus of Western sanctions needs to shift to other parts of the economy? Or can sanctions reduce fossil fuel income even further?
Russian oil and gas revenue was just 2.0% of GDP in January. If I'm not mistaken, that is a record low for the whole Putin era (since 2000). Here is the data since 2011.
