This is targeted at writers of speculative fiction stories (including science fiction and fantasy) that you post about here on BlueSky relatively regularly, but if this doesn't apply to you, you can still participate. 2. WIPs and published works, books, comics, TTRPGs and screenplays, all valid! 3. Read the schedule ahead of time and make sure you're up for it. Okay #WritingCommunity, what is a gift you give to yourself in your writing? What tropes or details or motifs do you use simply because you love them?

I love the tiny badass woman trope. I include the trope all the time.

I also love roses, and include them frequently as symbols and motifs.

Clipped received an AI review the other day on Netgalley!

It looks like they took someone else's legitimate review (A top 5 percent GR reviewer) and told the plagiarism machine to format the review in a multi-paragraph essay or something.

I reported it to Netgalley.

Just came across the umpteenth reviewer who once wrote decent reviews but has now hopped onto the slop train (for at least a year).

Authors, please vet your reviewers or you might end up with someone who feeds your books into the slop machine for their "reviews".
