This Golden Globes telecast is already a bit of a trainwreck. The camera shots/transitions are all over the place, the walk-up commentary is not great, and the song choices are wackadoodle.
I did appreciate very much the CBS/See B.S. quip in the opening monologue, though.

I just saw the video of the ICE person (man… it was of course a man) murdering that person in MN. And I burst into tears. This is beyond out of control. This is beyond lawless. ICE can’t be out here just killing whoever they want. This administration is responsible for the deaths of innocent people.

Was glad to see Third Eye Blind and was gleefully singing along to “Semi-Charmed Life” during the Orange Bowl. Also was very surprised to get as far into the song as they did before cutting to commercial. 😂

I’ve easily gotten 3x more $ asks today than Giving Tuesday. Meanwhile rent is due tomorrow. My health insurance is about to triple. Got an email saying my electric bill will be going up this year to make up from something from last year. My hours at work are all but gone. I wish I had money to give

I’m sorry, but it is disgraceful to be an academic who uses this technology to conduct research. It should be prohibited in all of our scholarly institutions, including universities and journals.

That soooooo much was redacted just tells you how much worse this really all is. (How many folks are paying for their protection right now?) This will all come to light someday and people will need to be held accountable. Having money should not be a “get out of jail free” pass for sexual predators.

I will still be calling it the Kennedy Center. As in “I’ve watched the Kennedy Center honors for the past 20 years, but will be boycotting this year’s sham of a telecast because everything about this president and everything he touches is garbage.”
Because it is my lot in life, Trump can’t change the name of the Kennedy center. It needs to be authorized by Congress.
