I'm not disappointed. I'm disgusted.

Disappointment is reserved for when someone made a bad choice. The Dems have shown they're incapable of making a good choice. The party does not care about the people they represent, but they are still pretending they do, and that's disgusting.
As this vote moves to the House, I stand with Democratic leadership as they refuse to rubber stamp the full-scale Republican assault on Americans’ health care and I am proud of the majority of Senate Democrats who opposed this vote.

the Dems had a grand ol time taking their victory lap on all the shows about how they won on affordability. forget enacting policies - they couldn't even stay on message for a week before caving in. schumer should be out NOW. this is beyond pathetic.

He wasn't a lone monster. He and his best buddy were monsters together. The story of this 13yo girl (NOT young woman) should play in the background as trump rambles about how he knew nothing. ALL of the girls should get to tell their story. It's not about Epstein now. It's about them.
Here it is, in its entirety. Katie Johnson vs. Trump/Epstein in 2016. She dropped the case before the election when she & her family started getting death threats, and has gone into hiding. Read, repost, show your friends. "May every day be another wonderful secret?" You S.O.B. #DoNotStaySilent

Can't wait to see the gotcha interview...
NYT: Mr. Mamdani, you selected African and Asian American on your application to Columbia. Can you explain this?!
ZM: Yes. I'm African and Asian American.
worth noting the pipeline here:
* Trump-supporting anons hack Columbia data
* Nazi twitter accounts dig around in the data
* NYT picks up on Nazi substack posts, publishes Zohran story to damage his campaign
* Chris Rufo immediately boosting the story

WTF is he talking about? Is he saying we're spending 1 trillion to protect Qatar? It would have only been 8 or 9B but he negotiated us into spending 1T? So incoherent.

The way we were treated at Delaney Hall is almost unbelievable. ICE shoved me, manhandled @repbonnie.bsky.social, and arrested Mayor Baraka.

They disrespected us and tried to stop us from conducting the oversight we’re elected to do. But we’ll never back down in our fight for what is right.

Has anyone else noticed how long podcast ads are now? They used to be a <30 sec blurb that wasn't worth unlocking the screen to skip.
Now it's a dissertation followed by "and that's why I use" or a tagline followed by 5 minutes of awkward vamping to justify the product or service's existence.

In a just world, this would tank the stock price (way more than the rest of the economy).

We need reform of Americans' retirement accts to give us more control over how our money gets invested. (A small priority, but it needs to be on the list.)

Where is every Dem in Congress right now?! A US citizen is being illegally jailed, no charges against him. A judge is using a law for "illegal immigrants" to keep him behind bars. He's an American citizen. ICE is going to use this man as their test case to disappear Americans. Mark my words.

Are there any rules or technicalities that would let another senator take over? I've only seen it said that it is "unlikely" - is it impossible?
I’ve taken the Senate floor and will speak for as long as I’m physically able to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed and not being heard in this moment of crisis. Watch here:

I could go on forever about what I think an effective opposition looks like, but the lack of opposition on Day 1 is what people are really upset about. If Dems had been genuine in the fight for democracy that they campaigned on, they would have changed their logo on Jan 21 to this...

The Dem leadership is struggling, but history has handed you the message and strategy. Everything comes down to the first 3 words of the Constitution -
We the People
That is the movement. That is the message. That is who is fighting and what we are fighting for. #wethepeople 1/n
March 25, 2025 at 3:16 PM
We need Dems to spread this to all the emerging leaders with some fight and some spine. They are flooding the zone - whatever the fight du jour, bring it under the umbrella of #wethepeople

@repjasmine.bsky.social @governorwalz.mn.gov @chrismurphyct.bsky.social @ossoff.senate.gov
We are going to finally get a grassroots movement, but the dissidents are going to be millions of people reacting to dozens of different issues. If we don't unify the movement now, it will implode. The rallying cry, the fight, the solution all comes down to "We the People" #wethepeople
March 25, 2025 at 3:10 PM
@democrats.org More Dems are finally getting their feet under them, but the message is getting lost because it's not coming from a unified place. Every message should come back to "We the People" - every fight falls under that umbrella. #wethepeople
