It also clearly shows that Carney bent the knee to Danielle Smith to get nothing in return. This MOU will not secure interprovincial peace, and it won't mollify Alberta separatists, and instead he's threatened his whole climate framework and pissing off every other province.

Good work by @althiaraj.bsky.social on the inside story of Guilbeault's resignation, from his being frozen out by PMO, given false assurances, and being made to wear the government walking back on pledges he made to Elizabeth May to secure her support. No kidding it was untenable for him to stay.

The arrogance of Americans on full display to explain why Canada is so upset with how our traditional ally and friend is treating us.

Trump picked the fight. We're just not backing down and folding.
US Ambassador to Canada: But let me tell you, I go around the country and people will say, “Pete, you just don’t understand why we’re so mad about the 51st state.” And it’s kind of like, “Yeah, you’re right. I don’t.

Honolulu sounds like Toronto and Nairobi
I'm anxious about being in Hawaiʻi and I just realized why. In Honolulu, where a car is needed to get around, I often agonize about when to go out so I'm not stuck in traffic. In London or Paris, I just go because I cycle everywhere and cars on the road don't impact my travel times. #CarsRuinCities

No one “deserves” to starve or be denied healthcare.

The richest country in the world can easily provide for all, and people shouldn’t have to prove they matter to be fed, housed & cared for.

It’s past time for a universal basic income, universal healthcare, affordable housing & food.
